Ortho Development was founded in 1994 and is a privately held company in Draper, Utah. Our majority shareholder is Japan Medical Dynamic Marketing (JMDM), a publicly-traded medical device distribution company in Japan.
Our product development philosophy is to make unique, innovative refinements to the best, clinically proven designs. All product is developed in our Draper R&D facility by teams of engineers collaborating with skilled orthopedic surgeons to develop high-performance product solutions that will help advance patient care.
Ortho Development implants are manufactured using advanced materials and technologies. Every implant and instrument is crafted with precision and care. Patient safety is our top priority, with each product thoroughly inspected, cleaned and shipped from our headquarters in Draper, UT.
Ortho Development products are distributed through a global network of more than 60 independent distributors, including JMDM. Our solutions are trusted by hundreds of surgeons and used in leading orthopedic hospitals, teaching institutions and community hospitals around the world.
